Good luck. This year I had to turn down speaking since I will be in another country!Jason Van Ordenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12319127683236902045noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8653136900588594124.post-61533280299135394452008-04-11T06:18:00.000-07:002008-04-11T06:18:00.000-07:00I think we are really in roundhouse stage of onlin...I think we are really in roundhouse stage of online video. Tracks lead from this central "online" hub and lead in many different directions. Some of the tracks build out a distance, but the bridges haven't been built yet (as Jennifer says... one bridge may be the bridge of trust). Some lines are short but solid. Some intersect the fenced track system of traditional media.

We are in the middle of a paradigm shift in all of our media. We're still discovering, building new rails, and finding the best routes. In the grand scheme of things, few people are aware of the building that is happening outside of the fence.

I'm just happy that I can be but a gandy-dancer in the building of this new media paradigm.Edhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04914605579645532512noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8653136900588594124.post-47404647058160887292008-04-10T17:10:00.000-07:002008-04-10T17:10:00.000-07:00It feels like we are in this wild era of online vi...It feels like we are in this wild era of online video. I trust very little of what I see online and I am not sure that is going to serve us all well in the long run. The other day I saw the video of the girls in Florida beating a classmate http://tinyurl.com/65y866. My first reaction was to wonder if it was staged as an attempt to make something sensational. Had I not heard they were arrested and talked with friends in Florida who saw the entire video I would not have easily changed my mind.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
